CHALLENGE
Re-launch WLDKAT with all new packaging, tagline, formulas sans-CBD, a more user-friendly website, re-branded email flows, and announcement of a partnership with major retailer Ulta.com.
APPROACH
In tandem with WLDKAT team and external partners, we honed the brand’s position and value proposition to consumers: providing efficacious formulas laced with weird + wild ingredients, retaining the brand’s original indie rock vibe while also delivering the supercharged simplicity necessary to succeed in the skincare market. By defining the brand tagline — earth’s wild ingredients paired with modern technology for skin that glows — the creative team was able to convey the juxtaposition of earthy, organic ingredients, with the clean and clinical vibe of a chemistry lab. We relaunched the site to be more simple + functional, raising average order value by 30%, without sacrificing on aesthetics, by focusing on highlighting product packaging and formulas.
